How it started

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hunt Hollow Ski Club in the 2016/2017 ski season, a group of past and current Ski Club members has created the Hunt Hollow Youth Skiing Fund.

This Fund will allow the Ski Club to reach out to our Finger Lakes Region, which has been providing services to the Club since 1967, with a program for underserved youth (as well as veterans for the adaptive ski program).

The program will provide the Club’s rental shop, and Snow Sports school with additional revenue. We hope to raise enough funds to provide a learn-to-ski program and also build a magic carpet/moving walkway on the Lovejoy beginners slope for this new Youth Skiing program.

The HHYSF is a donor advised fund of the Finger Lakes Area Community Endowment of Canandaigua National Bank and Trust. The HHYSF will cover all expenses for this learn-to-ski program beginning in the 2015/2016 ski season.

Community Benefits

Youth and Veterans of Naples, NY and the surrounding Finger Lakes Community, who demonstrate financial need and/or have adaptive needs, will have the opportunity to learn to ski for free and be provided equipment as well as with excellent instruction in the safe and family-friendly atmosphere of our private Ski Club.
